WiPTherm project stood out in several international press organs due to its revolutionizing technology that will allow to power small satellites (known as CubeSats) using innovative thermoelectric generators.
Faculty of Sciences of University of Porto (FCUP) News and Vida Extra (Expresso) in Portugal; University of Vigo News, Xornal of Vigo e Comarcas and La Región in Spain; and La Recherche (University of Limoges News) in France publicized in their online pages the project.
This European FET ( Future and Emerging Technologies) project is coordinated by IFIMUP and University of Porto and it has as partners CeNTi, INESC TEC, University of Vigo and University of Limoges.
