Sarah Bogas – CeNTI

Researcher @ CeNTI

Biography

Sarah Bogas has a master’s degree in Biophysics and Bionanosystems from the physic department of the University of Minho. Since 2020 works as a researcher at CeNTI’s Smart Materials team. Her research activities has been focused on the development, integration and characterization of electrospun nanofibers and print electronic systems/sensors. Her work in CeNTI has focused on the production of several printed devices, from heating systems; capacitive and resistive sensors, for humidity and temperature, in different substrates, acquiring knowledge in the development of smart textiles and smart composites. Also possessing knowledge in the study and development of formulations for encapsulants and inks. She has participated in several R&D projects (national and European), allowing her to acquire strong skills in the design, integration and production of systems using electronic printing technologies, but also in the various techniques for characterizing these same devices.
