Biography
Baptiste LECONTE was born in November 1971 in Flers (France) and received his PhD degree in Electronics, Microelectronics, Optics and Lasers, Optoelectronics and Microwaves in 2016 at the University of Caen. He is now a postdoctoral researcher in the Photonics Department at XLIM Research Institute, which is a mixed laboratory of the University of LIMOGES and CNRS. He is involved in design, realisation and characterisation of high-power laser systems based on a variety of rare-earth doped fibres, developed at XLIM, to reach high average/peak power and high energy levels without modal instabilities and/or to get access to non-conventional wavelengths.
